About Your Life Disability Support
Your Life Disability Support is a well established organisation providing a platform of tailored services/programs to meet participant’s needs. We have qualified staff that can cater to high or low intensity needs from early childhood intervention up to the age of 65.
Your Life Disability Support understands that in order to enjoy a high quality of life, individuals need access to services that allow them the dignity of independent living and the freedom to enjoy life with family and friends.
We have worked hard to make it easy for participants to transition and navigate their way around the NDIS. Our qualified team are passionate about delivering the tailored services designed specifically for you.
We encourage and assist all participants to achieve their goals, live more independently, increase their skills and be included in community recreational activities.
Specialised Independent Living (SIL)
SIL allows the tenants the 24/7 in house support to live an ‘independent’ lifestyle whilst also allowing access to nursing and all qualified support staff right at their doorstep!
SIL is specifically designed and modified to suit the needs of people who are not only categorised as ‘extreme functional impairment’ or require ‘very high physical support ‘ but is also accessible to participants with ‘improved liveability’ requirements. Not many people are aware that they are potentially entitled to access this funding as there has been a misconception that participants with minimal assisted living support are ineligible for this funding. We would like to discuss participant eligibility criteria and how to go about obtaining this funding through their NDIS plan.
Our SIL Lobby service is a 24/7, on-call service, that provides you with unplanned support if you need it in your new home. Our accommodation support starts before you even move in to your new home. We will work alongside you to give you a greater understanding of the criteria and access and obtain funding to assist you with independent daily living. Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA)
Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) refers to accommodation for people who require specialist housing solutions, including to assist with the delivery of supports that cater for their extreme functional impairment or very high support needs.
Funding is only provided to a small proportion of NDIS participants with extreme functional impairment or very high support needs who meet specific eligibility criteria.
SDA funding under the NDIS will stimulate investment in the development of new high quality dwellings for use by eligible NDIS participants. SDA funding is not support services, but is instead for the homes in which these services are delivered.
We can help you access this funding by guiding you through the process from A-Z. We are also able to provide you with brand new state of the art technology dwellings.
